I'm Back!

So, as you've probably noticed, I've been a little MIA lately. Well...Ian and I are expecting and I've had terrible morning sickness! I could barely make it through a day of working my regular job, let alone worry about my blog. But, things are looking up & I'm finally feeling like my old self again. We started trying to expand our family late last year but we were unsuccessful for a few months & even experienced a chemical pregnancy in February. It was very difficult not being able to control the outcome of our ambitions each month...I've always been a hard worker & always seem to get what I'm after. It was very hard for me to just have faith that we would someday expand our family...I was too anxious. We were both beyond excited when we finally saw the positive test in March! We found out on June 17th that we're expecting a little girl who we are naming Olive Liann. Here she is...

She's already incredibly spoiled and loved even more. We just cannot wait until December when we can welcome her to the world. Until then I'm putting a lot of effort into making her nursery just as special as her. Because I'm incredibly picky I plan on making her bedding myself, along with several other DIY projects...which I'll of course be sharing on here.

In other news, photos from Ashley's and Keri's baby showers will be up later this week. Both events turned out great and I can't wait to share. You'll also probably notice that I updated the blog thanks to a very talented web/blog designer Lindsay Nicole and a new logo thanks to my sister-in-law Raelene of Belvedere Designs. Both turned out better than I imagined...thank you both for your help!
